AN ACT
to raise a tax for the support of go
vertinment, for the Political year 18 13.
1. BE it enacted by the Senate and House of Re.
p resentatives of the state of T'eorgia in General
Assembly met, and by the authority thereof it i&
hereby enacted, That the act to raise a tax for the
support of government for the year 1805, passed
the 12th day of December 1804, and all other
acts amendatory thereto, with the alterations and
amendments hereinafter expressed, be, and the
same is hereby declared to be in force as the act
by which the tax for the support of.government
for the political year 1813 shall be assessed, le-
vied and collected.
2. And be it firther enacted by the authority a-
Joresaid, That the receivers of returns of taxa-
ble property shall, in the manner and at the times
pointed out by the aforerecited act, receive the re-
turns of taxable property of all persons liable to
pay a tax, until the ist day of May, 1813,, and
s1all immediately thereafter proceed to assess a
