B   E it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
presentatives of the state of Georgia, in General Assembly met,
and it is enaaled by the authority aforesaid, That after the
pafling of this af, if any flave who fhall be in the lawful
bufinefs oi fervice of his or her mafter, owner, overfeer
or other perfon having the charge, care and management
of fuch flave, fhall be beaten, bruifed, wounded, maimed
4r difabled, by any perfon or perfonT not having fuficient
