Sec. I 6. Ad be it further enacted by the au:
thority afore/aid, That if any perfon or perfons
authorized to carry this ad  into execution, fliall
be fthed or profecuted for any matter or thing to be
done in purfuance thereof, it fhall and may be
lawful for fuch perfon or perfons to plead the ge-
neral iffue, and give this ad, and the fpecial mat-
ter, in evidence.
Sec. 17. And be it further enacted by the autho-
rity aforefaid, That all former ads refpe6ting the
regulations of pilots and pilotage, are hereby re-
pealed.

Georgia, in General Awfnbly met, and it is hereby
enated Lv the authorty thereof, That a tax of
thirty-five cents for every huidred dollars value
on all lands within this flate, granted to or fUr-
veyed for any perfon, as fixch lands fhall be ef-
mated at, Ihall be levied on the fune, in the fo!-
lowing mode, to wit,
All tide fwanip (cultivated or uncultivited) in-
Cu'.ding illinds, of the firft quality, at ten dollars
