Free Negro or Mulatto, and if any person or persons shall so buy
of, or sell to such Free Negro or MIulatto, without such written con.
sent of the Guardian or Guardians of said Free Negro or Mulatto, PeuslY
such person shall, upon conviction thereof, be filled in a sum  not
less than One     ndred nor moro than Five Hundred Dollars, at
the discretion of the Jury.
