Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the Governor and Legislativo Colitil
of the Territory of Florida, That the Common flaw of Rugland,   .
in relation to Crimes and Misdemeanors, except so flur as the tditl,
same relates to the modes and degree of punishment, be ulRd the
same is hereby adopted and declared to b in full force in this
Territory.
See. 2. Be it further enacted, That any person convicted of  d

. See. 3. Be it further enacted, That any person convicted of
mainslaughter, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding one  fDsIghc
thiousa~nd dollars, or by whippiug,niot exceeding thirty-nine stripes
and imprisonment, not exceeding twelve months, at the wisere-
tion of the jury,
Sec. 4. Be it further enacted, That any person convicted of  Involuntary
