Sec. 12. Be itffurther enacted, That this act ,hall
take effect from and after the first day of J anuary next.

To determine the Compensation of the Officers of the
Legislative Council, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Governor and Legislative Council
oj the Territory of lorida, That the following sums be  Cou pensati l.
allowed the Clerks and other officers of the Legislative coullca
?ouncil, and for the contingent expenccs incurred for the
use of the same, viz;
To Thomas Munroe, Chief Clerk, four hundred dol-
lars.
To Gabriel Floyd, enrolling and engrossing clerk,
diree hundred and seven dollars and ibui'tcen cents.
To James Hughes, enrolling and engrossing clerk,
two hundred and eighty two dollars thirty cents.
To David Levy, enrolling and engrossing clerk, two
hundred and thirty seven dollars and forty six cents.
To John Gray Jr. enrolling and engrossing clerk, two
hundred and eighty two dollars and thirty cents.
To Abr'm. Levison, enrolling and egrossing clerk,
two. htndred and ninety five dollars and sixty four
cents.
