Be it enaeted by the Governor and Leisialhie, Councit

and by their corporate name may sue and be sued, ima;
plead and be impleaded,: and do all other acts as natural
persons, and may purchase and hold real, personal and
mixed property or dispose of the same for the benefit of
said town.
See. 2. Be itJurther enacted, That (ie government of GOVQnmont
