attachment, shall be governed by the same rules which
govern such pleadings in ordinary suits at law.

AN ACT.
To dctermine the fees of certain officers in this Tcrrito-
ry, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Gorernor and  Legislative Council
of the Territory of Vlorida, That the several officers
hereinafter mentioned shall hereafler be entitled to de-
mund and receive the following fees, for their services
respectively :
To the S&cretary of the Territory, for the duties here-
inafter specified, to wit :
For oflicial certificates, one dollar.
Aifixing (he seal of the Territory, otle dollar.
For copying nny public instrument or writing at the
rate of' twelve and half ec:.ts for each hundred words,
to be paid by the person receiving the same.
The Sur,!fm of each county shall receive l'or his ser-
vices, such t'eps and compunsatimn as shall be fixed by
the comtyl;y court.
The Cerk, of the Court of Appeals shall receive the
following fees:
For issuing a writ of error, one dollar.
For issuing seirc f/iias ad andiendum errorcs, one dol-
lar'.
For filing returns of cach of' said writs, twenty five
aelts.
