CHAPTER 28.
An Act prohibiting Burials in the Grave Yard of The African
Union Church, in the City of Wil mington.
SEcTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate amd buse of Represen-After Jan. 1,
tatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met, That j);!ilt%!d.
it shall not be lawful, after the first day of January, 1862, to inter
or bury any dead body in the ground heretofore used and now
occupied by The African Union Church as a burial place, in
the roar of their meeting house, and fronting on the easterly side
of King Street, above Eighth street, in the City of Wilmington.
SETIoN 2. Anl be it further enacted, That if any person orvIlaninof
persons shall, after the first day of January, 1862, inter or bury ,',m '.
any dead body in the burial place described in Section 1, every no.
such person or persons shall be deemed guilty of a misdcmeanor, renaur 12.
and forfeit and pay a line of twenty-five dollars.

CHAPTER 29.
An Act allowing an additional Constable to the County of Sussea.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and ouse of Represen-
tatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met, That evry court
the Levy Court of Sussex County be, and they arec herebyi'o s.tn.
authorized and required to appoint an additional Constable inl hioriz o
Sussex County, who shall reside at or near the village of Frank- asoonal
ford, situated on the line of Dagsborough and Baltimore Hun- Erik'v
dreds. The oflice of Constable hereby created shall continue until
this act shall be repealed; and the appointment thereto shall be
made, and vacancies filled, as provided by the laws and constitu-
tion of this State.
Passed at Dover, February 12, 1861.
