OH1APTER DCLXXIV.
JOINT RESOLUTION directing the State Treasurer to pal a
certain sum of noney to Yilliam N. IV. Dorsey.
Pvrambie.    WHIREltAS, It appears to this General Assembly that Henry
Brown, a negro convict, sorant of William N. W. Dorsey, was,
in pursuance of a conviction and sentence of the Court of Gene-
ral Sessions of the Peace and Jail Delivery of the State of Dela-
ware in and for Kent County, sold for the period of seven years,
for the sum of four hundred and ninety dollars, and that after the
payment of all costs, there remains a balance of four hundred
and thirty-nine dollars and forty-seven' cents; now, therefore,
-Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
SttoTreassurer State of Delaware, in General Asesembly met, That the State
Vtetopo ur Treasurer be, andi he is hereby, authorized and required to pay to
sma7       William N4. W. Dorsey the sun of four 1hundred and thirty-nino
dollars and forty-seven cents.
Adopted at Dover, Janua&I 25, 1859.
CHAPTER DCLXXV.
Resolved. by the House of Representatives of the State of Dela-
aoP bted State Joare, by and with the concurrence of the Senatv, That William
reasurer.  J. Clarke be, and lie is hereby appointed State Treasurer.
