SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and Ilbrue of Repres!n-
tatices of the State of' De/aware in General .ssenib/y met, That
whenever upon a trial, beforo a Justice of the Peace, under the
provisions of the second section of tihe act to which this is a sup- c
pleimient, any peIrson or persons complained against, may have been
or hereafter shall be ound guilty of an assault, or assault and
battery, and such justice shall adjudge that the party so fouid
guilty, shall pay to the State a fine, and also pay the costs of the
proceeding before such justice and stanol coninlitted till such
fine and costs be paid, and tihe party si) convicted and adjudged,
