Delaware, certain negroes therein mentioned.

CHAPTER CXI.
AN   ACT rendering .Jssessors and Collectors inca-
pable of certain other ofTices.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted bq the Senate and Assessors and
House of Representatives of the State of Delaware collectors not to
hold certain of'.
in General.tlssembly met, That no assessor, duringcs uti, &c.
the time for which he is elected, or appointed; and
no collector of a county, road, poor, or state tax,
during the time for which he is appointed, nor until
lie shall have rendered a full account of the taxes
connitted to him for collection and discharged him-
self thereof according to law; shall be elected or
appointed commissioner of the levy-court and court
of ap)eal, county treasurer, trustee of the poor,
inspector of a hundred, senator or representative in
the general assembly, coroner or sheriff.
SECTION 2. .dnd-be it further enacted, That thenepeai of-
Act to render assessors and collectors ineligible to ch. 59, 3
tie oflices of commissioner of the Levy-court and
court of appeal, county treasurer, treasurer of the
poor, inspector, coroncr andsheriff, he and hereby
is repealed.
