BE rT ENACTED by the Senate and House q Representatives of the State of Del/a. ware in General Asyembly met, That the levy courtrevy 'cour- and court of apieal, in each county, shall meet atvais of the court house of their county three times in everynlecung- year, that is to sayT, on the last Tuesday of Neptum- ber, on the first Tuesday of Februar%, and on the first Tuesday of March; and may adjourn from timeadjourn- to time as occasion shall require; and one commis.nients. sioner, if no more shall atteid on any day of meet- ing, or the clerk of the peace, if none attend, shall have power to adjourn the said court. SEc. 2. And be it further enacted, That theClerk of- clerk of the peace in each county, shall be the clerk of the levy court and court of appeal of his county; and shall safely keep the books minutes and pal*ers ihis duties. belonging to said court, and shall make full and true minutes of all the proceedings of said court, and shall deliver to the county treasurer certified transcripts,-of ,all allowances made by the said court,-of the appointment of collectors and the amount to be collected by each,-and of all matters that shall concern the said treasurer or be requisite for keeping the accounts of the county; and shall ob. serve the orders and rules of' the said court in all things relating to the duty of his office: and the sealseat ofthe of office of the clerk of the peace, shall be the sealcour of the levy court and court of appeal.
