'To suspend an Act to protect the elective franchiso in
municipal elections in the city of Mobile, approved
December 5, 1861.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and Hos of Re
resertatives of the State of Alabama in General Assembt
convencd, That an Act entitled an Act to protect the Atsuspeded
elective franchiso in munigipal 'oloctions in tho city
of Mobile, be and the same is heroby suspended, until TIN whe.,
the ratification ofa treaty of peaco.betweon the Con-
federate States and the Unitbd States of America.

resentatlivs of the State of Alabama in General Assembly

imich t hereol, as may be necessary, be and the sanic is and hours.
hereby oppropriated and placed at the disposal of the
Governor of this State, -for the bonefit of the Montgom-
Cry Waysid0e Home, of the city of Montgomery, to be
paid ove r from lime to time to such officers, or agent, of
,aid Waysido Home, as may be authiorized to receive it;
to he expended as said society may doop best for the
henefit of said object.
