To compensate Richard Norton, of Clierokee County, for
services rendered the State.
SEc. 1. Be it enacted by the &nate and House of Represent-
atives of the State of 41a(tbia tn General AssembtCiIy cunLced
Thiat the ,um of one hundred and twenty seven <tliuiri and
twenty-five cents, bie paid to Richird Norton, or Chleroe
Couity, out of any money in the trensury not otLerwise
approprinted for hiinging frmom the State of Mississippi one
Joti [. Henderson, a fugitive frin j utie from the State
of Alabama; that the Control!-ti of Public Acconits, be
authorized and requ red to draw his warrant on the State
treasurer for the above amount in favor of the said Richard
Norton.

perty held by him in trust for the bciefit of' his cestui
que trust.
S c. 1. Be it enacted by the &nate and House of Represent.
atives of the &tte of Alabama in General Assembly, convened,
That lienjamin F. Noble, of the city and county of Mlont-
gonery, be, and lie is hereby authorizcU as trustee Jor the
execution of certain trusts createdl by a (teed executed by
himself on the 18th day of December, 1846, to George W.
Noble, and also as trustee for the exvcution of certain
trusts created by a deed executed by James H1. Devotie, on
the 28th day of April, 1842, to said George W. Noble, to
sell said slaves and their increase, or any number of them,
or to exchange the same for other and nore suitable slaves,
and to ratify and confirm any sale or exchange which may
have been heretofore made of any of said slaves, the pro-
ceeds of which sale may have come into his possession, and
which sae is beneficial to all the cestui que trusts, and he
shall have power to invest the proceeds of the sale of said
slaves, or such of them as he may sell in permanent bank
stock or such other paying stock as be may deetn most
beneficial to all the cestui que trusts.
SEc. 2. .Be it further enacted, That the proceeds of such
