To authorize the Superinteident of Public Schools
to transfer a certain amount of money, from Town-
ship 9. Range 12, to Township, 7. Range 12, in
the county of Franklin.
SECTION 1. le it (acled by the Senalc (Otl 1 8ouse
of Iepresentatives of the State of Alabunau in Gene-
ral Assembly convened, That the Superintendent of
Public Schools, be, and he is hereby authorized
and required to transfer a certain amount of money
paid by Reece Hamilton, of the county of Franklin,
to the credit of Township 9, Rango 12, so that
said amount may hereafter appear, as belonging to
Township '7, Range 12, in said county, and issue
his certificate accordingly.

Authorizing the Comnimssioners of Revenue of Mo-
bile county, to Creet poor houses.
SECTIoN 1. Be it enaMtced iy the Scnate (ml H1ouse
of R1epresentatives o the State of Alabama in Gene-
ral Assembly convened, That the Board of Coin-
missioners of Revenue of' Mobile county, be, and
they are hereby authorized and empowered to pur- Authority to
chase a suitable quantity of land in the said county, purchase land
to be determined by said Board, for the purpose of
establishing and putting into operation, an Asylum
for the poor of said county ; which land and other
property herein after authorized to be purchased by
said Board, for the purpose aforesaid, shall be paid
for out of the fluid of the county, now or hereafter-
under the control of' said levenue Conunissioners.
Six. 2. Be it further enacted, That the said
Board of Revenue Connuissioners, are hereby au-
thorized and empowered to purchase such fumrniture,
farming implements, stock of any description no-
