Sm. 8. And be it further enacted, That if the western
Boundary.  or: outhern boundary of said corporation shall extend into
and embrace a part of the county of Macon, it shall, for
the purposes incident to said corporation, be held and con.
sidered a part of the county, of Russell, and the jurisdic-
tion of said corporation shall extend as well over the terri-
tory embraced in Macon county as that embraced in Itus-
sell county, and all processes shall be served ther in, as
though it were a iart of the countY of Russell.

resent(tives of the Stat- o/' Aladoaa in Geerail AsstmdqU con-
vened, That John Nelson, John Erwin, Henry Watson,
Corporators.  Allen C. Jones, Bryant Gully, John P. Kerr and Isaac
Croonm, of Greene county, and their associates, be and they
are hereby constituted a body corporate, inder the name
and style of  The Planters' Insurance Company, the
amount of the capital stock thereof to be not less than
Iifty nor more than two hundred thousand dollars, and to
be divided into shares of one hundred dollars each.
Notlactobegiven  SEc. 2. 1 it firther enackd, That notice shall be given
for two successive weeks, by advertisement published
in the newspapers of Green county, of the time and place
when and where subscriptions will be received for stock in
said company; said subscriptions shall be opened under the
insp ction and control of Henry Watson, Brant Gull
and John P. Kerr, and the sum of ten dollars upon eae
share shall be paid in at the time of subscription, and the
remainder be secured to be paid, and be paid at such time
and in such manner as the board of directors, after their
olection shall determine; the books to remain open fbr sub
scriptions for one day.
