[No. 273.]            AN ACT
To repeal an act entitled  an act for the encouragement of
education.
W.hereas, it is made to appear by petition numerously
 signed by citizens of township ninleteen, range two, west,
Stanter county, that an act entitled an act for the en-
couragement of education operates to the disadvantage of
the poor children in said towiiship; therefore-

ro pr y. of William \V. Alloti, a minor heir of Wade Allen, deceased,
he andi he, is hereby anthoristd to invest the sui of twelve
thousand dollars hielonging to said ward in negro property
for lie use and honefit of said ward.
Snc. 2. And bei furither enucted, That said James J.
~~rtinal1Stewart, so soon as he shall purchase the said negro property
for his said ward, be and lie is hebchy required to return a full
and complete inventory of the kinud and value of said negr'o
property to the probate court of Montgoimery.poipty
