AN ACT

To change the names of certain persons therein named,
and for other purposes,
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the Stat'of Alabana, in General Assembly convened,
That the names of William and Janies Banks, adopted
children of Obediah Mayfield, shall be cijunged to William
and James lMayfield, and that said Willin and James, or
the survivor, shall be deemed the legal heirs of said Obe-
diah Mayfield, and entitled to inhert his estate, should he
die intestate.

this act, the niame of Washitgion Key amith. of the county
of Shelbv, be. and the same is hmruby, chatged to that ot
Washington Key Rushing.
Sec. 2. ./nd be it further enacted. That the said Wash.
v.el t'n ''* ington Key Smith be, and he is hereby made, a legal heir
h ' U. u 1'- of Bryant Rushing, of the county aluresaid, and that he be
entitled to all the rights and privileges of a lawfully begot-
ven child of said Hushing, and he capable of taking, by m.
heritaice, or otherwise, any property, real or persona!,
which may descend to himi as such heir.
