AN ACT

For the relief of the Minor Heirs of Hugh M. Warren de.
ceased.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Represen.
tatives of the State of Alabama, in General Assembly convened,
Judge of Frank' That the Judge of the County Court of the conilly of Frank-
lin cry sour ma lin, in said State of Alabama, be, and he is hereby author-
sale of lands.  ized and empowered with full and complete jurisdiction,
to grant and make an crder for the sale of the lands belong-
ing to the minor heirs of Hugh M. Warren, deceased; whicth
lands are lying and being in said county of Fianklin,.
Sec. 2. A4nd be it furthir enctwed, That the said sale
s1! how conduc. shall have the force and effet and shall be governed and
'ed andefaect  conducted by the rules and restrictions prescribed by the
l1weceof.   saws now in force, which anuthorize the Orphan's Courts
of this Slate, to order Guardians to sell the lands of ninor
wards for their maintainance and education.

AN ACT

For the relief of Robert G. McMahan, Guardian of Tur-
ner D. Bell.

Section 1. [Be it cnaried by the Senatc and House of Reprc-
sentatives of the Stateof Alabama, in General Assembly rontened,
May e.<ctbrge That, Robert G. Mcilahan, Guardian of Turner D. Bell,
-Iave of his  of Sumter county, be, and he is hereby, allowed to ex-
ward.        change any of the slaves belonging to his said ward, for
such others as may be of more value to the interest of said
ward ; and, also, to invest any monies which are niow, or
may -hereafter, be in his hands as Guardian, in the pur-
chase of real estate, slaves, and other property, necersary
to carry on a plantation, and to work the same for the bell-
efit of said ward ; and to account to the Orphan's Court
for the proceeds thereof, instead of loaning said monies at
interest, as now required by law.
Upon annual set.  Sec. 2, dnd be it]imrther enacted, That, upon annual

Lroduce deeds & for said Guardian to produce deeds and bills of sale dtily
t;,sale.   authenticated, for all such real estate, slaves, and other
property purchased or exchanged by him in pursuance of

ers, and credited to said Guardian, in said settlement
