Section 1. Be it eifacted by   e. Seriqte aid loeise' of
Representalives of the $ile of'Aibend'ii .General    s Time of ses
sembly convened, 'That Montgomery Carleton, Tax  dlIedtor dement ex.
of Sumter county, l;e allowed until the first Monday in May tended.
next, to~malke final settlement with the Comptrollet.of Public
Acounts, for the taxes due said county, for the year eighteen
hundred ahd forty-five : Provided, that the said MOntgottlery
Carleton's securities give. their assent in writing to said ex-
tension.

To authorize the Branch Bank at Decatur to extend a 'certain
debt therein named.
Section 1. Be it enacde4 by the Senate and House of,Rep-
resentatives of the State of Alabaiina, in General .esemlily
convened, That the Presideta and Directors 9f the Branch of
the Bank at Decatur, be, and they are-hereby-authorized to'ex-
tend a judginent obtained agaiust the estate' of Micajah Tfio, Timq of pay-
mak, deceased, at the Spring term  of the Circuit Court of e
Liniestonecointy, eighteen hundred and forty-five, and to sus-
pend execution thereon until the first day of 'Junei eighteen
hundred and forty-six, oh the payment of all costs, aqd 'dne
third of the principal and-interest Provided, such additional
securit'y shall be given, as in the opinion of'the said Presi-
dent and Directors may he necessary: And providedfurther,
no lien acquired by said judgment shall be forfeited by such
extension.

emancipate and set free Horace King of Rusself couity:

Section 1. Be it enacted by. the Senate and House of Reprkshn.

That the said Horace King is hereby declared to be free. and
his emancipation is hereby confirmed, and the. said' Horace
