Conty Court and Commissioners of roads aod reveonteipithe
county of Morgan, shall appoint one assessor in said coity,
in the same nianier as now p;,rescribed by law, who shall give
hond and security, and assess the taxes of said county accqrd, 1

ers shall be entitled to recive of and fromthe party at whose

each, for each day they are engaged in tile performance of said
services ; any law Io the contrary notwithstanding.
