An Act to prevent non-residents from recovering compensation for slaves executed in this State in certain cases. 1845 27 (1845)

by law; and it shall be the duty of the Secretary of State on
the day specified in his advertisement, to open all such lpropo-
sals in the presence of the Governor, and the lowest bidder
shall be declared State Printer for the term of two years:
Provided, he shall first give bond in the sumn of ten thousand Printer to

in the same manner as is provided in the seventh section of the
above recited act. Provided, that any person who shall con-
tract for the public printing under the provisions of this act,

Sec. 8. dnd be it fiurther enacted, That all laws and parts
of laws, contravening the provisions of this act, be, and the
sate are hereby repealed.
