To Thomas Harrison, of Tuscaloosa county, tie sun of one
Tllarriaxin thundred and fifty dollars, for taking care of the State Ho , lby
appointment of the Governor:
To Enoch.Watkins, late Tax Cpliector of Lowrides county,
E Waikins the sum of forty dollars and thirty-one cents, it being the sum
paid by him into the State Treasury, as tax collector aforesaid,
for the year eighteen hundred and forty-lhree, as appeais by
the certificate of the Comptroller of Pubhc Accounts; and the
Comptroller Fhall draw his warrants for the same, to be paid out
of any moneys in the Treasury, not otherwiee appropriated.

Making appropriations for the payment of certain claims
against the State.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Rep-
resentatives of the State qf .dlabana in General dssenbly
convened, That the several sums of money hereinafter men-
tioued, be, and the same are hereby appropriated to the several
persons respectively, hereinafter mentioned, that is to say :
.1 ciahe   To Joseph S. Clarke, jailer of Madison county, for keeping
State prisoners, the sum of one hundred and thirty-two dollars
pnd five cents:
1 1,Rancy  To James L Raney, jailcr of Limestone county, for keep-
ing State prisoners, the sum of one hundred and thirty-four
dollars and thirty cents:
J w Pearce  To J. V. Pearce, of Tuscaloosa, for work done on the Cap-
itol, the sum of tweaty-three dollars:
A .1 Tavlor  To Andrew J. TF.ylor, jailer of Butler county, for keeping
State prisoners, the sum of t wenty-eight dollars:
To Josiah lutts, jailer of Coosa county, for keeping State
prisoners, the sum of thirty-nine dollars and five cents:
VLainpton   To Wade L. H-ampton, jailer of De Kalb county, for keep-
ing State prisoners, the sum of eighteen dollars and eighty
cents:
To John Shenault, Sheriff of St. Clair county, for keeping
J sac:.ault State prisoners, the sum of thirty-seven dollars and seven
cents
T   Iarvcy  To Thomas S. Harvey, jailer of Henry county, for keep-
ing State prisoners, the sui of three hundred and sixteen dol-
lars and seventy-five cents:
U ' Hall    To D. M. Hall, of Coosa county, for keeping State prison-
ers, the sum of fifty dollars and twenty-five cents :
To John Allums, of Dale county, for keeping State prisoners,
