To make uniform the time of holding the Commissioners' Court in the County of
Pickens.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Iepre.

Vened, That hereafter the times for holding the Commissioners'
Court of Roads and Revenue for the County of Pickens, shall be
the first, Mondafs in January, April, July and October.
Approved, 14th February, 1843.

Extending to the County of Jackson, the piovisiona of certain Acts,thercin named,
Section 1. Be it cnercd by the Senate and House of Represen-
latives of the State of Alabana, in. General Assenbly convened,
That the provisions of an act, entitled an act, relative to Jus-
tices' Courts, and for other purposes,. in certain coutities therein
named, approv6d, February fifth, one thousand eight hundred
and forty, and also the provisions of An act, entitled, an act to
establish Jury trials in Justices' Courts, in certain coctnties in this
State, and to regulate the proceedings therein, approved, Decem-
ber thirty-first, one thousand eight hundred and forty-one, be,
and the same are hereby extended to the County of Jackson,
and said acts are to be in full foree and effect in said County of
Jackson, from and after the first day of March next.

To repeat in part, and amend an act to provide for the se of Lands and Slaves in
the town of. Decatur, in certain cases, approved January Qd, 1840.
Section 1. Be it enacted by ithe Senate and House of Rep-
resentatives of Ihe State of Alabama in General Assembly
Duty of sher. convened, That it shall be the duty of the sheriff or coroner of
ifr or coroner. the county of Morgan, from and after the second Monday in
March next, to expose to saleall lands which maybe levied on by
execution, lying and being in said county, west of Flint river,
and all-slaves, which may be taken in execution, belonging to
defendants residing in said county, west of said Flint river, at
the market-house, in the town of Decatur, in said county of
Morgan, on the first Saturday in every month, after having ad-
vertised the time and place of sale according to law.
Sec. 2. .And be it further enacted, That all acts and parts of
Repeal.   acts contravening the provisions of this act, be and the same
are hereby repealed.
