For the relief of Goorge II. Garrett.
Section 1. Be it enacted bit the Senate and House of Pep-
resentatives of the State of .'labana in General Issenif;
convened, That the Governor, be and he is hereby authorized,
if to him it shall seem rcasonable ar I proper,to pardon George
11. Garrett, convicted of negro steakng before the circuit court
for the county of Autauga.

To enable Thonins S. Tate to remove a certain estate.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Rcpresen-
tatives of the State of Alabunia in General As.oembly courtcd,.
That Thomas S. 'late, of Russell cotuny, be authorized to re-
move from the county of Cherokee, the estatt belonging to
the heirs of Jeremiah Waters, deceased, on presenting tothe
county Judge of Cherokee, the certificate of the county Jndge
of Russell county, that he hath given bond and security, in Itis
county as required o f guardians, by law.

For the relief of J. lenri Ilottingiier.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Sen'wie and House of Repre-
senlatives of the State of AlaP'amqa, in General .Assembly
cmvened, That the above named J. Henri HIottineuar, a Frenci
citizen, be authorized to have, hold, possess, and enjoy lands
and tcnenents in the city of Mobile, in the same manner, as if
lie had been born in the United States, and that the same mnay
descend, or be transferred by him, by sale, gift, or devise, with-
out being subject to the laws in regard to escheat -or forfeitd.

For the relief of John B. Herron.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Rep-
'esentaltives ofthe State of.Wabana in General .dssemb/y con-
vened, That hereafter, whenever it shall become necessary for
John 13. Herron, of Montgomery county, to take and subscribe
the oath or oaths against duelling, the same shall be confined, in
point of time, to the first tay of January, Anno Domine, one
thousand eight hundred and forty.
