To authorize an investment of the School Fund of township four, range three, in
the County of Limestone.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senale and House of Rep-
resentatives of the Slate of Alabama in General .lssembly
convened, That the school commissioners of township four,
range three, in the county of Limestone, shall, after giving thir-
ty days notice of the timte and place, cause an election to be
cnnussin held at some convenient place in said township to take the
ers to hold  sense of the qualified electors thereof, as to whethcr they aic
election.  in favor of, or opposed to a re investnent in linds of the six-
tenth section fund, and the managers of said election, shall
cause each voter to endorse on his ticket the word  invest-
Ient ' or llo investment.
Sec. 2. .Ind he i/further enacted, That if it shall be found
by -aid election, that a majority of all the qualified electors of
o nert e the township, are in favor of a re-investment of the school
sale or fand. flnid, then it siall be the duty of the cotnlissiolners of said
township, to advertise for three imotiths, that they will receive
proposals uitil a stated day, for the sale of any lands in said
township, for cash, and at the expiration of the time, they shall
make such purchase as they may deem most advantageons for
lite towNshit, antd shall take deeds of conveyance for said lands
to themselves and their stuccessors in oflice, inl perpetuity, to be
held for the use and benefit oftle inhabitants of, said township
in the same manner as was the sixteenth section previous to
the sale thereof.
Sec. 3. .*nd be it further enarted, That on application (if

a sentence of the Circuit Court of Perry county, for murder.
