power, with the assent of the purghaser or purchasers, to annul
or cancel the contract of sale for said section,torany lot or parcel
thereof, which is.not likely. to -be -pro metive; arrd *hall have
power, furthermore, to re-sell, rent or lease the same, as if 'no
sale had ever been made, any law to the contrary notwithstand-
ing:. Provided, that -no money shall be paid back to the first
purchaser or purchasers, whose contract shall be cancelled by
virtue of this act.

Making Appropriations for the payment of oeripin Claima against the Stte.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and H7ouse of Rep-
,resentatives of the State of Alabama in General Issemibly
convened, That the several sums of moqey hereinalter mew-
tioned, be, and the same are hereby appropriated, to the several
persous respectively hereinafter mentioned: that is to say,
To Richard Taylor. jailer of Chambers county, the suni of
one hundred and twenty-two dollars and forty cents, for keeping I. Taylor.
prisoners:
ToJoln Boling, jailer of Butler county, the sum of seventy-
eight dollars and-aixty cents, for keeping State ptisoners:  J  ing.
To E. M. Stephens, jailer of -Perry counvy, the sum of ninefy. E. Al. Ste.
eighi dollars and ninety cents, for keeping.State prisoners:  phens.
To James Odell, ,jailer of Limetone cuunty, the sum of
thirty-eiglitdollars and forty cents, for'keeping Robert McKin-,*oden.

two hundred and thirty-two dollars and eighty cents, for keeping
State prisoners:            of

twenty-six dollars and. fifiy cents, for services of himself and
guard-in conieying John Raybun, a State prisoner, from M\on-
tezuma to Hayneville, on a change of venue:
- To Benjamiq T. Blasingame, jailer- of Russell county; the B.T. Blasia.

To John Scottyjailer of'Jefferson county, the sum'of twenty-
