JOINT RESOLUTION
In relation to the Salt Wells and Salt Springs belonging to (he Atse of Alabama.
Iesolved by the Senate and House qf2epresentatives of the State of
Alabama in General Issernbly convened, That the Governor be, and he
is hereby authorized, after obtaining the necessary information in relation'to
the salt springs and wells belonging to the State, to farm them out to the
best advantage, and take the necessary bonds and security for the proper
working and care of the s-ne.
Approved, 13th February, 1843.

WaEzEAs, it is in contemplation by the Jegislature, to place in liquida-
tion, the Birancres of the State Bank, at Mobile,antd at Decatur; therefore
with eaview to this object,
