tion to retnitar ofspiritous liquarp, approved, Elecember the twenty.thiird, one thousand
eight hundred and tiirty-seven.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Represen-
tatives nf the State of Alabama in General Assembly convened,
That every person who may hereafterapply to any Judge of the coun-
ta' ty Court in this State, for a license to retail spirituous liquors, shall
on obtaining the same, pay in open court, the sum of thirty dollars;
and that so much of the first section of the above recited act, as re-
quires the payment of twenty dollars only, be and the same is here-
by repealed.
Sec. 2. And be itfurther enact ed, That the recommendation
