next succeeding termI of said court, and if they repot t said road not to
be in good order and repair, it shall he the duty of said court, upon such
report to order a notice to issue to said Lekios and Arnold reqniring them
to set open said gate or gates and not again demi ind toll, until 1they pro-
duce the report of five respectable citizens of said county, who have
made oath that the said road is in repair as required by this act; and should
they demand and receive toll after notice having been given, they shall
forfeit and py foiur times the toil so dimanded before any court having
jurisd iction thereof, which slu1ll go to tihe benefit of the person that may
sue for the same.

of the State o/f./ilabatma, in General Assembly convened, That the
sum of two hundred atnd] sixty dollars and seveiity-five cents, be, and the
Smlne is herchy allowed to Samuel Brasore, as compensation for services
rendered and monies paid in going and returning from Tennessee, with
an order troin the Executive of tlis State upon the Executive of Ten-
nessee, for a certain man named James I. Reed, charged with negro
stealing.
Sic. z. .A1nd be it further enacted, That the Comptroler of public
accounts be authorised to ismie his warrant upon the Treasurer for' the
above amount, to be paid out of any nionies in the Treisury, not other-

rna, at Decatur, he and they are hereby nuthorised and required to grant
to the purchasers of the sixteenth sections of township 7 and range 9
west, and of township 7 and rango 8 west and their securities, a post-
ponement of one year, in the payment of all bonds given by the purcha-
sers of the aforcsaid sixteenth sections for the purchase ot their several
portions of the sixteenth sections of township 7 range 9, and township 7
range s west of the basis of naridiar.of Huntsville, said sections being in
.the county of Lawrence, sold agreeable to law,by tile commissioners of
