And be itfurther enacted, That all persons, wagons, earts, enrringes and horsemenu, crossing said turnpike on the above recited road, he and thov arc hereby authorised to pass through said gate free of toll, until a road is or may be opened at some convenient point on said road, leading from Childress' old place to the old town on the Warrior, passing round ;aid gate and again uniting with said road, passing round Stagg's fteld and nenting said road west of Stout's tornpike. Sec. 3. And be it fur/ither enac/ed, That all pers'ons passing .§aid road shall he permitted to pass round said gate free from any pennlty, until said road is opened around Stagg's flield, any liv to the contrary notwithptanding.
