stable.   succeeding constables for said incorporation, and to remove
said constable whenever he shall fail to discharge the duties
of his office.
'To appoint  Sec. 18. And be it further enuctid, That hereafter the power

Treasurer. hnll in like manner he vested in said trustees, any law to the

Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Represen-
tatives of the State of Alabama ib General Axsenbly convened,
That from and after the passage of this nct, the bonds of ma-
trimony heretofore existing between Eliza Bult, of Lawrence
county, and Lewis Bolt, be. and the same are hereby annul-
led, and that the said Eliza Bolt he, and she is hereby di-
vorced from her husband, the said Lewis Bolt.

authoriz-d to hereby authorized to emancipate two certain mulatto children,
emaneupre * one y the name of Edwin, a boy about five years old, and the
c ertui Flits Vother a girl, 1\ the name of Caroline, about three years of
Togivebond. age; conditioned that the said Anson Smith give bond and
good security to the judge of said county, in the suin of five
hundred dollars, that the said Edwin and Caroline never be-

tinier authoriz. manumit and set free from  slavery a certain slave named
 t) set tre Marie Francoise, who is the property of the said Fermin Tre-
.     nier, when the said Fermin Trenier Shall, by himself or attor-
ney, execute to the judge of the County Court of the county
logivebond of Mobile, and his successors in office, a bond with sufficient
security, to be approved by said judge, conditioned that, the
said slave shall ne% er become chargeable to this State, or any
county or town thereof.
