Stec. 5. And be itfnrther enacted, That the aforesaid officers
and witnesses, shall receive for their services aud attendance cers of of.
nder this act, the same fees atind compensation now allow- neers a'5d
d them for simelar services and attendance in other cases,
which fees and compe~sation shall be paid by the party con-.

AN ACT, naking appropriations for certain claims agaiist the State.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Sevedum( R11ouse o f Op*
1resentatives of the State of Alabama, inGeneral.4ssemblycon-
vened, That the following sums ho, aud they are hereby ap*
propriated for the payment of the accounts of certain persons
hereinafter mentioned, for provisions iurnished to certain per-
rons in the jails of the several counties 'ithin this State, to wit:
Fielding L. White of Madison County the sum of eight hun-
dred and forty-four dollars and forty-cents j to George W.
Sneed of Lauderdale County twenty-two dollars and eigtLy
cents; to John Dickey of the said last u   tlioned .county      a
two hundred and sixty-seven dollaxs and twentyoumts; to John Jailors.
B eckam of Clatk County sixteen doilars and eighy cents; to
Rowland Eidson of Perry Coint tlyiy dollars and foity cents;
to James Yeates of Green County seventy two dollars; to Wil-
-Iiamn Skidmore-of Morgan County one'hundred and thirty dol-
lars; to Eli Abhott of Autauga, County one hundred dollars and
forty cents; to Pleasant Wrightof Green County eighty eight
dollars and eighty cents; to Campbell Sharp of Monroe County
three lmildred and thirty-eight dollars and sixty cents; to Ster.
