AN ACT. to authorise John Smith of Jefferson county tn
clanciate a certain slave therein named.

ined. That John Smith of Jethron county be, and hereby

Ac. 2. And be it further enaeld, That tho said Jolnp
Smith, bKime he shall he entitle.! to the benefit of this act. exe
Cut.? his hond w ith two Securities to be approved by the Judge
of the county court of said. conty. in the sum of one thousald
dollars. payable to the Goviernor of the State of Alabama for
..he time imHing, and his succenors in otire, conditioned, that
the said slave Sam, shall within six months after the passage
ofthis act be removed beyond the limits of this State, never to
retin.
