That John D. Rogers, Samuel Dale, John Bishop, Hugh comm'rse
Young, and James George, or a majority of them, be, and p'ointed, for
they are hereby, aplointed comnmlssaoners to view and mark rojaldfroanTuft
out a road, beginnin< on the state road leading from Ttsea
loosa to Mobilc, at or near Pickens' mill in Marcngo.county,
running from thence the nearest and most practicable route
(crossing Alabama riverat Dale-town)to the town of Canton
in Wvilcox county.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacild, That Tlio ns M'Cants, From Cnton
Samuel Dale, John Foster, Garnett Iongniii, and Joel Lee, to Onsaols.

land lies which may he so injured: And provided further, that Provir,
no person liable to work on roads in Dallas county shall be
required to work a greater number of days in opening, or .
keeping in repair, that part which passes through the said
county, than may be aquired of them who reside in Wilcox
county.
See. 4. And be it further cnactcd, That it shall he the duty County coun
