Dear Judge Hudson:
Attorney General Moore has received your request for an opinion and has assigned it to me
for research and reply. Your question was:
iyn   letter that a  inioni be issued coheerning th
following facts as they apply to §43-21-261(g)(8):
If a juvenile has been charged with four felony counts in one petition and had
been adjudicated on all four counts at the same hearing and that juvenile had
no prior record in public under §43-21-261(g)(8) of the Mississippi code of
1972 annotated or does the statute require two separate adjudication hearings
before such measures are taken.
Section 43-21-261(g)(8) of the Youth Court Act, as amended in 1994, provides:
Names and addresses of juveniles twice adjudicated as
delinquent for an act which would be a felony if committed by
an adult or for the unlawful possession of a firearm shall not be
held confidential and shall be made available to the public.
