Rural populations as used in Sec. 262.591 V. A. M. S. relating to maximum amount
that can be appropriated by a county court for agricultural extension purposes
means rural population as determined by the Federal census. $1.00 per capita of
the rural population is the maximum that may be appropriated by the county court.

The superintendent of the state mental hospital at Fulton in his sole discretion
may furnish all or any part of the allowance provided in Sec. 216.350 V. A. M. S.
to a convict who has been transferred to the hospital from a correctional institu-
tion provided the convict is discharged from the hospital at the time his sentence
in the correctional institution expires. A prisoner confined in a correctional
institution when paroled or discharged therefrom is entitled to all allowances
provided for in Sec. 216.350 V. A. M. S.
