               I have your letters inquiring whether, under current Illinois law, Illinois counties

and municipalities, either home rule or non-home-rule, may adopt right-to-work ordinances,1 or



               'The term right-to-work ordinances refers to ordinances that provide that a person's right to work
may not be denied or abridged on account of his or her membership or non-membership in a labor union or labor
organization, or be conditioned upon payments thereto.
