In reference to your opinion requcat conceri3ning coronr)s'
fees wherein you state the following:
Plcase find onclosed c-a copy of hills submitted
for July and August by the Logz'- County Coj onor.
The Logan County Judge desircrn to know whethern
or not the claims filed herein by the counLy
coronor are authoriv-ed by law.
I would very much apprecicite tn opi  n f rum
your office for allowing claims for # county
coroner.
please be advised of Ark. Stat. Ann. S 32-1727, a copy of
which I have attached.
From this fee schcddule it is to be noted that there are iv
specific provisions for the type of costs, supplion, and expea::cn
for the office of county coroner. The Gonoral Asmsetbly, aware
that all conceivable fees could not be codified, cnactc tin
Act Docember 23, 3942, codified as Ark. Stat. Ann. S 12-1735
which provides as follows:
In all cases where any officcr or other person is
required to perform any duly for w-hici no fees are
allowed by any law, he shall be entitled to receive
such pay as would be allowed for similarm service.
The Supreme Court of Arkansas when faced with the issue of.
whether the quorums court would be required to pay a claim of
fees for a county officer where there was no specific enchling
