TO ALL STATE AND COUNTY OFFICERS OF ALABAMA:
In accordance with Code 1940, Title 55, Section 228, I am
submitting to you the Quarterly Report of the Opinions of the
Attorney General of Alabama. This Report covers all opinions
rendered by the Attorney General from October 1, 1950, through
December 31, 1950.
The Section of the Code referred to above requires that seven
copies of this Quarterly Report be sent to each of the Probate
Judges in the State and the Probate Judge shall in turn deliver one
volume each to the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the Sheriff, the Tax
Collector, the Tax Assessor, the County Superintendent of Educa-
tion, and Deputy or County Solicitor. Said Code Section also re-
quires a copy of said Report to be sent each Circuit Solicitor and
the chief executive officer of each incorporated municipality in
the State.
If you have any suggestions to make regarding the improve-
ment of the service, we should be glad to receive it.
The office of the Attorney General is anxious to render
prompt and efficient service to the State and county officials.
