             in Geneat Courr Affnembled, Recommended to the General Affociaton of the Churches n tbi Colony, to Enquire into the State of R E-

             Alfembly at tlas Time, the feveral following Heads, Vi.

to: great a neifleI ofa due Execution of thofe good Laws already Ena&ed amongft us, for the Prevention of fuch Decays in Religion.

  To a due Executinn of the Law of this Colony, Entituled, ( An At7 for Educating of Cbildren ) in all and every the feveral Parts and

   That the Selel-men make diigent Enquiry of all Houfe-holders, within their refpdaive Towns, how    they are Stor'd with

Wo,,n the  faid Houfe holders torthwith to procure one Bible at lealf, for the Ule and Benefit of the faid Family ; and if the fame be
neglc. led, then the faid Selec men (hall make Return thereof to the next Authoritv; and that all thore Families which are Numerous,
an i wh fe Circumfilances will allow thereof, (ha'l be fhpplved with a confiderable number of Bibles, according to the number of
Perfbns in fuch Families And that they fee th it all fuch Families be furnaifhed with Iiitable numbers of Orthodox Catechifms, and
other good Books offradbcal Godlinefi, var. uch eflecially as Treat on, Encourage, and duly Prepare for the right Attendance on that
great Duty of the 1.ORD's SUPPER.
