handle is hein.psc/yukon2016 and id is 1 raw text is: CHAPTER I ACT TO AMEND THE EDUCATION ACT (Assented to April 27, 2016) The Commissioner of Yukon, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly, enacts as follows 1 This Act amends the Education Act. Council and Board numbers clarified 2 In section 67, the following subsection is added after subsection (3) (4) In this section, 'member' and 'trustee' do not include a representative appointed or elected under section 68. Role of representatives confirmed 3 Subsection 68(4) is replaced with the following (4) For greater certainty, a representative appointed or elected under this section to a School Board or Council is, except for the purposes of section 67, a trustee of the School Board or a member of the Council, as the case may be. Application 4(1) Subject to subsection (2), this Act applies on and after the day on which it is assented to.
