Dear  Mssrs. Zaid, Bakaj, and  McCullough:

        The  Senate Select  Committee   on  Intelligence is reviewing  the Intelligence Community
processes  and  procedures  that were  followed  relative to the  August  12,  2019, whistleblower
complaint.   The  Committee   requests that your  client make  himself/herself  available for an in-
person, transcribed, closed interview with bipartisan Committee   staff at a mutually agreeable time
before November 8,   2019.

        As previously  discussed, the Committee   staff will make themselves  available at any time
of day or night, will travel to a mutually agreeable secure location of your client's choosing, and
will work  with the ICIG's office and/or ODNI   to ensure  that appropriate security procedures and
protocols exist to protect your client's physical safety and anonymity.

        Please respond  in writing upon  receipt of this letter. Should  you  decline to participate
based  on the assertion of any  potential common   law  or constitutional privilege, the Committee
requires that you make a specific and written assertion of such privilege. If you have any questions
about this letter, please contact Committee counsel  at 202-224-1700.
