   GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING -
HOW CAN THE WBA BE MORE
                   RELEVANT?
All members, both new and old, are invited to attend a
very important General Membership Meeting on Thurs-
day, February 11 at 6:30 pm. at the offices of McKenna &
Cuneo, 19(X) K Street, NW, Relate your experiences with
the WBA (both good and bad). Is the WBA still a relevant
organizafion? What can we do to make it more relevant and
helpful for its members? Do women lawyers still need their
own tar association? What barriers, subtle and otherwise,
remain for women in the legal profession? We need your
involvement and your feedback! During the meeting, we
plan to break out into smaller focus groups, with WBA Board
members as moderators, to discuss these and many other
  mportant topics,
If you have any ideas for discussion topics, please submit
them to Jackie Pumnpaly, Executive Director, by mail or by
fax (202) 639 8889. We strongly urge every WBA member
