NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS:

Using Time, Money and Image To Your Advantage
Featured Dinner Speaker Ellen Malcolm of EMILY's List

As 1992 ended so did the Year of the Woman.
Or did it? 1992's dramatic increase in women
elected to political office, strong push for women's
rights, and ardent focus on women's issues did not
stop at year's end. Rather, the Year of the Woman
may be fondly remembered as the spark that caught.
In the spirit of building upon past successes, the
WBA is sponsoring New Year's Resolutions, a
showcase event featuring time management, finan-
cial planning, and professional image workshops
complemented by a dinner program on Sustaining
the Year of the Woman which will spotlight Ellen

R. Malcolm, founder and president of EMILY's
List. Emily's List is an organization which propels
qualified women into prestigious and powerful
elected offices. The seminars and dinner program
will be held on February 16, 1993 at the ANA/
Westin Hotel, 2400 M Street, NW, Washington
D.C., from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m.
EMILY's List, an acronym for Early Money is
Like Yeast (it makes dough rise), is the nation's
largest funding source of federal campaigns.

BALANCING AT THE TOP:

Successful Strategies of Part-Time Practitioners

The practice of law is not only a full-time job, it's
often at least a job and one half. So, why isn't the
termpart-time lawyer oxymoronic? Because there
are lawyers who not only make it work, but achieve
success unknown to many full-timers.
