     JANUARY PI.)APY'1 FEATURES PANEL ON LEGAL CAREERS IN EXPANDING AREAS

         On Thursday, January 17, the Career Opportunities Cormittee and the WBA
     Co inications and Health Forums will jointly sponsor a program featuring
     four attorneys, all employed in fields of law which have great potential for
     expansion in the comng years. The attorneys who will speak about their work
     and te possibilities for growth and exployment opportunities in their areas
     are: Wendy Krasner, a specialist in health and hospital law who works with
     the fim of Kramer, NcDernott, Will and ery; Judy Davis Pomeranz who works
     in the. field of international law for the U.S. Departent of Commerce; Nell
     Hennessy who is a private practitioner and expert in the pnsion law area,
     working for the firm of Strook, Stroock and Lavan; and a specialist (to be
     annlounced) in the field of conwunications law.

         The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. with light refreshments at 6:00, and
     will be held at the Federal How. Loan Bank Board Building, 1700 G Street,
     N.W., 2nd floor anphitheatre,     The cos;t is $4.00 for WBA nenbers who
     pre-register and pre-pay; $5.00 for W      rrmbrs at the door; $7.00 for
     non-numbers; and $2.50 for students. To pro-register, please return the form
