PUTTING YOUR BEST SELF FORWARD: MANAGING VERBAL AND
LECTURE


NONVERBAL MESSAGES--THE JANUARY


    The image we project can enhance or inhibit our chances for success. A critical
part of that image is the way we communicate our ideas and goals. On Monday, January
30, 1984 Drs. William and Beverly Reynolds will provide guidance on managing verbal and
nonverbal messages in interviewing and other career related situations. Dr. Beverly
Reynolds is a Professor of Speech Communication and Chair of the Department of
Communication and Theater at Essex Community College in Baltimore. She specializes in
voice and diction.   Dr. William Reynolds is a Professor of Speech Communication at
George Washington University.     1e has written a number of books and studies on
argumentation and debate.

    The program will be held at the offices of Howrey and Simon, 1730 Pennsylvania Ave.,
N.W., 6th Floor. Refreshments will be served at 6:00 p.m. and the program will start
at 6:30. The fee is $4 for WBA members who preregister, $5 at the door, $6 for nonmembers,
and $2.50 for students. For further information, call 775-0420. To preregister, send
