The April 1i Task Force meeting began
with an discussion of the goals and pur-
poses of 0 BA- It wa determ ined that the
development of subgroups within WBA would
put women with sinilar interests in con-
tact with each other. Methods to further

ices and job refrrals from the membership.
it was also decided to update and revise
the membership directory so that it could
serve as a client referral tool and pro-
mote more effective communication among
members. Another area of particular inter-
est to the Task Force is WBA's role in the
general advancement of womcn in the legal
profession. Increased lobbying efforts,
development of interaction with other pro-
fessional women's groups and the creation
of a nationwide netw rk of womens legal
grous were ident ified as th means of
achieving both an expan ded role for WBA
