NOTES FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
               THE WOMEN'S BAR ASSOCIATION FOUNDATION
                                June 13, 2000

The meeting was convened by the President, Sandra H. Robinson at the law
offices of Jack H. Olender & Associates, 888 1 7th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20006.
Present were: President Robinson, Maria A. Perugini, Mildeen Worrell, Terri McField,
and Gloria R. Sulton. Deborah Israel was also present as President-Elect of the
Women's Bar Association. Because of the absence of a quorum to conduct business,
the following are the Secretary's notes of matters that were informally discussed at this
meeting.

President Robinson distributed a copy of the WBAF By-Laws to those present.

Several names were mentioned as possible candidates for Board openings -
Consuelo Pinto (firm), Julie Heflin (at-home), Jocelyn Fisher (firm), and Jennifer Duane
(Sprint).

The position of Corresponding Secretary is also open. Maria Perugini is
interested.

The Annual Dinner preliminary figures will be discussed by the WBAF and WBA
Presidents, and to review agendas for the organizations. There is concern that if the
annual dinner revenues are low, the funds available to assist with the newsletter
expenses could be impacted.

Endowment Campaign information should be put on the WBA website,
particularly the Pledge Form. The timing of the solicitation mailing to the WBA
membership is very important, late August mentioned, followed by the telephone bank.

Board members need to submit photos for the Web sight.

                              Gloria R. Sulton
                              Recording Secretary
